A Great Way to Start the New Year---
---with a new pattern from Claudia's Quilt Shoppe! :-)
It's available on the pattern page now. Measures 24" x 30". Just the right size for your mobile home, or for someone you know. The little house is a pieced block. Everything else is appliqué. Your choice by hand or fusible machine appliqué. Mine, personally, is fused and my good friend stitched the edges for me with her perfect little buttonhole stitch on her perfect little machine, lol. It's in my quilting hoop as we speak, being hand quilted. It's just a small project and won't take long. I'll post a gallery picture next month, I hope, when it's done. -----Well, Surprise! It's here!! The new free block-of-the-month project for 2005. Here's a photo of it finished (just the top).

We have a couple of swaps and 3 block "scrambles" going on at the Quilt Shoppe Forum. One of the block swaps is a "Nursery Rhyme" swap. One scramble is a Double Four Patch, drawing, and we have two "Carola's Square Dance" (by Carola Forsberg) scrambles.
