Le Ann and I presented a program and trunk show at the Muskogee Area Quilters' Guild. What a great bunch of quilters! We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the warm welcome we received. We also conducted a workshop on "Nickel Bricks".

Le Ann & I are almost in a panic now....nearing a deadline to finish the manuscript for the sequel to Loose Change. This is one reason you haven't been hearing much outta me!
We hope this book will be even better (if possible) than the first. You can start looking for it on the shelves in the fall of 2010.

What a great job she did!! I think of all those little HST's she did, and I get a little dizzy. She added a row to the width and length. We love the electric blue and chocolate brown color scheme. Great job, Valerie!!!
Life Notes:
Another reason I've been scarce is that we finally closed on Mom's house next door Oct 1. Last week we started the major move for her and managed to get her things from Arkansas moved, in spite of 3 days of bone-chilling, wet rain. It's a wonder we both didn't get the pneumonia from constant trips to and from the outbuildings in her swampy yard. But the movers shoved it all in the moving van and got it here last week. She's starting to get settled in, but still has a long ways to go. It's great having her here within "shoutin' distance". :-)
